You actually find a medic in the mess hall. The mess itself is oddly vacant considering the number of people crammed into the base's confines. The burly medic is alone in one corner, clearly marked by his red and white insignia. He watches you with interest as you sit down in front of him. When you ask your question, he briefly looks at you as if to ask; "where have you been hiding," before giving you the benefit of the doubt. "As the name implies, it was first recorded up north in Quebec. As for patient zero, It's hard to say. I doubt they could have identified him even if he was wearing a name tag. The matter's complicated by the fact that the first fifty cases were all reported within a day of each other. But that's airborne bugs for you.He arches an eyebrow, Why do you ask?"

Nightwolf gives him a brief smile, and notes just how burly he is as well as where the nearest objects she could use as weapons if she needed to are in the room.
Nightwolf: "I've been up and personal with some of the infected on more then one occasion. I've also come across some other interesting information. I have this hypothesis, but clearly I'm not a medical practitioner so I don't have the knowledge to follow up on my hypothesis."
"I have some serious personal doubts that this 'Quebec Fever' as everyone has named it, is really airborne at all. If that was the case there are several people including myself, and likely many, many more that should be infected and full out Neanderthal, but we're not."
"The Fever is clearly not natural and with some other things I've discovered, I know that the Fever is synthetic. It's a biological attack, just like way back in history. After seeing how the infected act and having fought them before. I'm suspicious that maybe this Fever might act more like rabbis. It spreads through bites and other open wounds instead of through the air. With the way the infected act after their transformation it wouldn't be too hard to pass it on to a lot of other people very quickly, especially if those people’s symptoms don’t manifest right off."
"It would also explain why some people who breath some of the same air as those who are infected don't themselves become infected. It's that or some people have a natural immunity. There are far too many of those. If it were a biological attack then they'd have engineered it so it'd do the most damage as possible unless they had a different goal then to kill off everyone."
"It's possible, since it was a biological attack, that there might not have been just one patient zero. Maybe there was more. Maybe all of those first fifty that came down with the Fever first were all patient zero."
"I need to confirm or disprove as much of my suspicions as possible. If it wasn't airborne, but was more like a very contagious rabbis how else would that change things? Would it be eventually be lethal to all of the infect like rabbis is too? The infected sure act crazied after thier mutation. They attack anybody else on sight."
"Whoever created this Fever, do you think it might have been possible that they might have used rabbis or a simillar infection as a base?"
"I'm also very curious if this Fever might also have some similar genetics to this really huge fish me and an associate met up with earlier. If this Fever is mutating people, why can't it do simillar to our wildlife?"

"I just know what I'm told, I'm not in on the research. You might want to talk to Dr. Hernandez about that. He's the brain in charge of breaking the bug."He arches an eyebrow, "Now, what was that about a big fish?"

Nightwolf smiles lopsidedly, "I guess you haven’t heard about that yet. It’s huge. I call it the Leviathan. My associate calles it The Guppy. Makes a mech look small. I think my associate is trying to recuite some people to go kill it since the first attempt was a complete failure. Just think giant mutant titan fish or squid. Honestly Leviathan or sea monster is much closer to what it is then an overly large guppy."
"Where can I find this Dr. Hernandez?"

"Sounds like a headache if you ask me.
"They've set up a lab in D block for him and a few of his colleagues. Might be kind of a trick to see him considering how tight they kept the security around there. Seems like literally have to drag him out for meals, too."

Nightwolf shrugs and then thanks the medic for his help. She then heads off to find the lab in D block he mentions or at least the security up to it.
When she arrives at the first security point she will inform them as follows.
Nightwolf: "I need to speak with Dr. Hernandez, in person. It's urgent. I have information for the doctor's ears alone, it's about the plauge. He'll want to know what I have to say."

The marine lazily looks you over. She taps her screen a couple times and says: "I don't have any appointments scheduled for Dr. Hernandez. I'll need to verify your clearance."

Nightwolf smiles a small smile.
Nightwolf: I'm not military. I'm not sure what clearance I would have. Doesn't really matter. The information I have Dr. Hernandez is going to what to hear appointment and or clearance no. You do want an end to this plague don't you? I won't tell anyone else the information. It has to be Dr. Hernandez. You can bring in security agents on the little meeting if you like, but I must speak with the good doctor.

(OOC: Ouch! A fumble.)
"One moment please", she says and picks up a phone. She mutters "Never shoulda joined the Marines" as she dials.
After a moment, she says, "Captain Farr? This is sergeant Hill, I'm gonna need a couple goons. Yeah, I've got a live one.".

Nightwolf patiently awaits the arrival of the goons. She still doesn't really like the millitary, but she still needs to talk to the doctor. If the millitary wanted to be present, fine, as long as she got the audiance with the doctor she needed.
