You don't have any difficulty finding a vehicle that suits your needs. The car is primarily configured for ground effect hover, but is capable of low altitude flight.
As you are leaving town, you are intercepted buy a pair of small military hovercraft that attempt to position themselves at your flanks. Meanwhile the car's built in radio notifies you of the incoming transmission:
"Please state your name, license number and destination."
The military craft look like ancient attack helicopters except with a pair of stubby wings that each mount a turbofan for both lift and propulsion. Another turbofan is mounted at the tail and appears to be dedicated to propulsion. Though they are clearly designed for speed over firepower, they still outgun your unarmed civilian vehicle.

Nightwolf rolls eyes and mutters to herself, "I knew that was too easy."
Then into the comm, "I'm Marian Dubois. I am headed to Beaumont, Texas. " She also give them her fake identification's driver license assuming she has any. If not then she'll search the ship she acquired for such documents. If that fails she'll give them the first license number she remembers from her travels. With her memory that shouldn't be a problem.
Nightwolf bits her lip and keeps one eye on the hovercraft behind her while trying to formulate a plan to elude them when this ruse of her's doesn't work. They're more powerful and faster than her vehicle so out running or gunning them is out of the question.
That leaves cleverness, maneuverability, and perchance luck and hope. She entertains the idea of finding a cave or similar structure that is large enough for her vehicle to get though, but not the two military craft. If she could find such a cave, maybe she'd be able to get away from the patrol...
She'll check for caves as she is flying that might suite her needs and she'll check to see if the vehicles behind her are large than hers.
Nightwolf has yet to actually do anything to act upon this escape plan. She wants to determine if it has any chance of success first or if there might not be a better way, or on the miracle that the patrol leaves her alone despite how unlikely that is.

Unfortunately, caves are a little hard to come by in suburban Texas. However, you do find the next best thing...
A Subway Station.
It is one of those Park-and-Ride establishments for taking commuters downtown. The vast parking lot is mostly empty, between the holiday season and the evacuation of Dallas. The entrance isn't small enough to prevent them form following you, but they'd have to do it single file.
In the mean time, it seems that your fake ID does it's work.
"I'm sorry Ms. Dubois," the lead pilot replies after a moment, "but all civilians are to be evacuated to secure locations. Please divert your course to Greenville Naval Base. I'm transmitting the coordinates now."

Once Nightwolf has the coordinates she'll start in that direction watching carefully to see if the patrol is going to follow her there or go off back to their patrolling.
If it looks like they are going to follow her all the way to the Naval Base, then Nightwolf will make a break for the subway station and dive into there tunnels. She is hoping she might be able to lose them in there.
If the patrol doesn't look like it will follow her all the way to the Navel Base, Nightwolf will wait until they go back off to their patrol to change her course back towards the directions Beamer gave her to get to his place.
