Nightwolf shrugs, "Better than staying here. I'm up for a fight. If you don't mind I'd rather you piolet and I man the guns if that's possible. I wonder if it will be safe to eat once we'be turned it into sushi?"

Beamer looks at her, "The cockpit is only large enough for one person, maybe two if I need to take somone else, but I cannot manuver. If you know how to drive I could likely give you the basic lessons on piloting. You just need to sit back and blast away as I hack it up."

Nightwolf nods, "I can do that. Lead the way."

Captain Andrew's leads her to the vechicle yard. He finds a simple piloted mecha unit, but he will be sure to have a heavy aresenal placed on it.
He looks at one of the young officers, "I am Hunter Andrews. What is your name soldier?"
"Private Peters sir!"
Beamer smiles. "That is a good name. I need you to find me enough fire power to blow a new crater into the moon from Dallas State University. It needs to be mounted on that mech." Andrew's points to the one he will have Nightwolf use.
"Sir, that mecha unit cannot handle that much firepower. Sir." Peters said rythmically.
"Are you questioning my judgement son? I do not plan to allow this little mech to be destroyed before I fininsh hunting. Get the guns and and alter it for aquatic movments." Beamer looks at the young private. The private looks back in disbelief. "Son, there are things that the book will not teach you. Read between the lines, or just take my orders."
"But sir--"
Beamer cut him off, "Do I need to file a report on how you failed your duty and put this world in danger son? Or should I just use your as fish bait. I am Hunter Catptain Jonathan Patric Andrew's... or have you not heard of me this far out yet."
The privates eyes grow wide. "You are the one who hunts pirates with less than six officers and always comes back! You are crazy. How do you survive?"
Jon turns to get some food. "I blast my way out. Get those guns soldier." He walks past Nightwolf. "Lets get you some real food before we go fishing." He keeps walking away ignoring any attempts the private may give to excuse himself from doing the job.
When Andrews gets back, he will inspect the mecha himself and make the needed adjustments.
"So Nightwolf, do you like Itillian. My father tells me it is wonderful. I would love to try some." He keeps walking away.

Nightwolf: "Don't know. I was very young when I was last on earth. It's been quite a long time since I had any."
Nightwolf follows Beamer calmly and paying attention to everything around her and to what he tries to show her.

Beamer casually walks by the Mech he will have Nightwolf pilot. "This little guy will be yours. Usually it is used for scouting and delieveries. Though when it is finished you will have enough fire power to blow a crater the size of this territory into the earth." Beamer looks back at Nightwolf. "Though that would of course destroy the mecha unit and cook you at tempratures similar to those at the core of this planet." He winks. "But the waters of the ocean will keep your unit cool enough to handle the heat." Jonathan laughs, "Memories." He slaps the mech twice and heads off for the city. "So do you think we will find any place that is not infested with mutants?"
He tosses her enough credits to buy a weeks worth of food, just incase they get seperated.

Nightwolf catches the credits and this time says nothing. If it makes him feel better or that he has at least one friend not dead, she'd take his money. He was trying to be friendly to her, genuinely. That's not something she has seen for a very long time that didn't have a catch attached to it.
Nightwolf: "So how long before we get to go hunting? I was hoping for fish for dinner."

"It could be done in three hours, so I assume it will take five before we can leave." Beamer smiles wryly, "You really are that anxious to get started? I figured that if there is any chance I may not return from Master Jones' locker, I would have a good meal and hoped for good company. If you would rather stay here until I return that is your choice, but I would like to at least have another human being with me while we eat." Beamer stops cold in his tracks. He looks beyond the blockades where in the distance he can see a few of the mutants ripping apart the flesh of a poor young woman. He pulls out his laser pistol and drops two of them with clean shots. The last one runs off. "It may not be such a good idea to leave." He looks frustrated and emotionally exhausted. "I'll teach you the basics of movement in Mecha Units and targeting. Let's go find a few training beds and get you ready for sushi." He laughs, but this time it is different. He is not genuinely happy.
He is worried about Ellyna. What if she became too involved in one of his projects and was removed. What if she was taken off by one of his Uncle's lot. What if she was in real trouble. He knows that he cannot think about this now. He must do the job and help those on this world before he could focus on his own.

Nightwolf(Confused): "Master Jones' locker?"
Nightwolf sees the mutants and Beamer off them. Then she asks a sudden new question to Beamer.
Nightwolf: "You obviously don't do this for the violence or the trauma your job causes. So, why are you apart of the military? Why do you do what it is that you do? You act as if you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. You seem so worried about all the live that might count on you. All that worry isn't going to help you, especially if it's something you have no control over. It's only going to drag you down. Don't think about all the lives that may be depending on you and what you do. With all of this that's happening it's too much for any one person to bear, and you aren't alone even if you feel you might be. Think only of those whose lives matter the most to you. Do this for them. It's the best thing you can do to help them right now. You can't allow doubt, worry, or the pressure of all those other lives get to you. So focus on doing this for the sakes of those few you care about. It's only a byproduct that it might help countless others as well."
"These guys who created the monster fish didn't just attack the Earth. They aren't just attacking the Earth. They attacked you and all those you love. In many ways it was a direct attack. It's personal and an intimate kind of assault. They aren't going to stop until you make them stop. I don't think you're the kind of man to just standby and let them do it. They've already taken so much from you. You're taking the fight back to them, for all those you hold dear, not just for honor or duty or principle. Do it for the love of those you care most about. The overly large fish is only the first step in returning the fight back to those who started it and to finishing it. It will be a symbolic act that we will protect those we cherish from all who might consider harming them."
"I don't know about you, but I intend to send them a clear straight hard message. It's the kind of message that it might be best if I don't eat before hand, beside I want to save room for what might be edible of the fish after I'm through with it. Assuming it's safe to eat and that there is anything left."
"Besides, the sooner it's dealt with the sooner we can move on to getting closer to those actually responsible and putting and end to their little war, preferably in a very personal fashion. It will also be less time that they have of doing more damage than they already have. Let's not give them any more time to hurt those we care about shall we?"
"We can worry about not making it later when this is all over and we can afford thoughts of failure. Right now that's not an option, so let's stick to what is."
"Now, as I recall you've setting me up with as much fire power as this machine can take and only when the ocean can cool it, otherwise it'd explode, yes? Now does it have an ejection system in case I find it nessecary to explode the mech after feeding it to the fish, but without the desire to be eaten or go up with the mech? If nothing else works, I'm pretty sure that might. I'm not sure if it would only take out the fish or if it might tak out more then that... How big of explosion would that be if that became nessesary? Maybe it would be better if we brought some explosive we could feed it instead..."
"What do you suppose a fish that size eats? It must have taken quite some time to get to that size. So, how do you hide something for that long and that large without anyone else finding out?"

Beamer replies to the the first question, "Master Jones was reffered to as Davy in ancient earth history. It was a sailor's tale."
Andrew's listens to Nightwolf, a genuine smile begins to appear when she 'obviously' know why he doesn't do it. "I do it for her, to protect my mother and the others who can't defend themselves. I do it for my goal. I am not sure what my goal is, but my father told me that once I had my first child, I would know what my goal was. I do it to help the few friends I have from being destroyed."
Beamer listens to her next statement in deep thought. He almost seems offened and determined, as if a deep anger has awoken in his soul.
THe offense if obvious after she speaks of failure. Though he is quiet until she finishes talking to him.
Once she is through he is still quiet for a few minutes as he finds some training mechs to teach Nightwolf about piloting. "First off Nightwolf, if I ever hear you even think about failure again; I will refuse to let you join me in any dream." He opens the cockpit. "This is you bed. You will wake up every time. I have heard others refer to this stasis chamber in other terms. They are all dead. You always wake up, you got it." He is very stern on the matter. "You always win, you always wake up. If the nightmare gets too bad, take control, afterall it is only a dream." He winks at her.
"You will only ever succeed. If I ever hear anything else, I will personally remove you from the mission. I refuse to clean up friends mistakes and blood stains." He smiles jokingly.
"Since you insist on speaking in terms of we, I assume that you are in this with me. I hope you can think of me as a good friend. The really good ones come too few, and too far between. So partner, you want to go fishing." He shows her how to enter the Mecha Unit properly. "A fish that size eats fly boys like me." He closes the hatch and jumps into an identical unit.
Her intercom turns on. "Go to sleep Nightwolf. You will need to just react to what you see in your mind. You will see the battle through the sensors that are in this unit...." He goes through the basics of movment and and targeting. "So with all that said. You won't learn to eject. In fact I will need you to dock inside the stasis shield of the city before we fully kill off the guppy. Promise me that you will do this Nightwolf. Blast it will half of what you have. Save the other half in case I take too long to do my job. If it attacks the city and breaks in I have failed and I need you to blow it away and help repair the field. The people will need you. We can do it, I trust you can help save this city." He laughs gingerly over the com concluding her crash corse in mecha usage.
"Remember we always wake up, and I look forward to sushi with you."
